Seoul Trip Day 1

Seoul. Ahh i will never forget those days. I was so happy that my dream came true.

So my flight to Incheon, Seoul was at 11.30 p.m. by using Malaysia Airlines (MAS). It was Saturday, 28th September 2013. I bought the ticket around June, 3 months earlier because it was sold at really cheap. Usually the ticket would be RM1600++ but that time it's only like RM1200++. I went with my friend's family where they are 9 adult including me and 1 kid and 1 baby.

Me, my sister and her daughter and mom before the departure..it was my first time traveling alone without my family

 Meals we had on plane

We arrived safely around 7.30 a.m. Seoul time. Malaysia only 1 hour behind with Seoul so it wasn't that difficult to adapt with the time actually.

Touchdown!!

Our luggage

Upon arrivals at Incheon, we took bus to Gimpo Airport as our flight to Jeju would be from there. We chose Eastar Jet Airlines because it was the cheapest. Flight to Jeju was at 1.35p.m and expected to arrive at 2.40-3.00 p.m. We also placed half of our luggage at the luggage storage in Gimpo because most of our time would be at Seoul. We planned this ahead of time and all of us have separated luggage for Jeju and Seoul. The luggage was charged according to the size of the bag and it's around 20,000++ won.

I don't remember what is the luggage storage name but it is near to this coffee shop.

We were heading to the other site of Gimpo airport using the shuttle bus

The moment i had my first the-ever-popular-must-try banana uyu. Price = KRW1200

After wandering around for hours, we finally checked in to Jeju Island. Half of our luggage already kept in the storage and we worried that the luggage we brought would still over the capacity but naahh it didn't.

After checked in

It took 1-hour flight from Gimpo Airport to Jeju and we chose Eastar Jet to fly there. Booked in advance and it costs around RM200++ return ticket. There was some slight delay and we finally arrived around 4 p.m. at Jeju. The weather at that time was quite terrible, rainy and windy so we just straight to our pension by using Taxi. I think it's already around 5-6 p.m when we arrived at the pension. The pension named Soldaewat (You may click here for your reference). It was booked by my friend's aunt (Maksu) and i remember it was totally affordable. Our plan was to stay at Jeju for 3 days 2 night. The house owner was very helpful because they helped to bring all of our luggage to the dorm. We did have a good rest after a hectic airport transfer. After settled down a little bit, me, Sarah and Maksu walked for a grocery shopping not far from the pension. The Jeju people was really nice even though they couldn't speak English. I bought Banana Uyu again and Sarah bought Strawberry Uyu. I must say that the banana is way better than the Strawberry. We had a good meal and that conclude our first night at Jeju.

To be continued...

Update and review : Innisfree face mist

Assalamualaikum and Hello!

It's been so long right. I was surprised that this blog has more than 3k hits because i thought of closing  it already. Thank you so much!! I hope that my post will helps some of you who in need of information pertaining to Korean Cosmetics. The reason why i create this blog is to contribute whatever information i have to the public because i am also a person who will do a research before i buy a particular product. I am just analytical like that..yes bear with me. I will talk about a face mist today.

Face mist, face fix whatever you called that.

1- Innisfree Green Tea Mineral 50ml

Bought at Seoul
Price: KRW5,000

Ingredients: Camellia sinensis leaf extract, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, Camellia japonica leaf extract, orchid extract, oputia coccinellifera fruit extract, citrus unshiu peel extract, betaine, dl-panthenol, propanediol, 1,2-hezanediol, bis-peg-18 methyl ether dimethyl silane, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, disodium EDTA, phenoxyethanol, fragrance.

This is my own mist from the previous post.

I loveee this mist. It is so refreshing and sometimes i used it when i was sleepy during work. Just to lighten up my face a little bit. It is very lightweight and there is a hint of green tea smells which is totally fine. Who doesn't love green tea right? In term of moisturizing part i think it is good enough for dry skin like me.Those who have oily skin i think this will work fine, just to add something as a freshener to your face especially during winter. Overall i think this is an okay product.

2. Innisfree Eco Science White C mist
Bought from Malaysian Supplier for Korean cosmetics (preorder)
Price: MYR40

Main contents: Jeju organic tangerine peel, Green tea extract, medlar leaf extract, Orchid extract, Cactus extract, Camellia leaf extract

What it claims;

- Jeju organic tangerine peel and green tea extract provides fair skin.

- Protects skin from drying because of the harmful effects of the environment.

- Moisturizes and brightens skin.

I always try to find a product to brighten up my skin instantly that is why i bought this mist. The smells of tangerine is really strong that it might be the major turnoff for some people. As for me i really like it because everytime i sprayed i would imagine the taste of Jeju tangerine. It was so sweet and delish...urghh i miss Jeju!!! For brightening effect i really cannot say much because honestly i did not see any difference. It just felt like something tangy and fresh onto your skin and thats it. It also makes your skin a little bit sticky that's why i only used it as my night skincare routine. But maybe for long term it might works..i don't know. It didn't do any bad nor any good. Price wise i think if you buy it in Seoul, it should be okay but don't buy it in other countries as i don't think it is worth it.

3. Innisfree Mineral Glow Fixer 120ml

Bought from Malaysian Supplier for Korean cosmetics (preorder)
Price: MYR50

Ingredient: Water, butylene glycol, glycerin, mineral salts, camellia, sinensis leaf extract, citrus unshiu peel extract, orchid extract, camellia japonica leaf extract, opuntia coccinellifera fruit ectract, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, panthenol, pentylene glycol, polyester-5. disodium EDTA, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol, fragrance(parfum).

Both products i mentioned above.

As you all know, Korean makeup trend is dewy looks. That is why if you see them whether in the dramas or advertisement they tend to advertised their signature look. The best example is Song Hye Kyo in the Laneige advertisement. I rarely used this product until recently when my skin tend to be drier than usual. I sprayed lots if it after a full makeup and found out that the result was pretty good. I really love how my skin glowing especially when the day is rainy and cold. But for the sake of hot weather, i will leave it out. Glowing skin in hot weather is a big NOOO..

The picture speaks for itself. For dry skin like me i think it is really good. I don't feel its heavy at all but i saw some reviews said this mist is actually pretty thick on their skin. It is a big size bottle and worth your investment. Innisfree also claims that their products are free from parabens, mineral, animal ingredients and talc..which is awesomeeee!. Repurchase? Of course.

Thats all for now. I will review some more then. Till later.
Salam.
